Vulvar cancer symptoms can sometimes be detected by a colposcopy, and is linked to the penile wart virus, HPV. This is not a very common disease. Early detection is vital in the success of treatment. Itching that does not improve, change in skin color or feel, wart-like bumps on the vulva, pain when urinating, burning, and sometimes even bleeding not related to the menstrual cycle are the signs of the disease.
