Vulvar

A vulvar wart is often the result of inoculation with HPV. Treatments such as antibiotics and hormones are used for these cases. A reduced level of estrogen in the body during menopause also can cause discomfort. Women most commonly complain of vulva itching, which is usually caused by chemicals from creams, douches, deodorants, spermicides, or infections. The main purpose of the labia majora and minora is to protect the vagina. This includes the skin and hair that covers the pubic bone or labia majora (large lips), labia minora (or small lips), the urethral opening and the vaginal opening. Vulva is what describes the outer genitalia. A vulvar wart is often the result of inoculation with HPV.
