Vulvar Dysplasia

Vulvar dysplasia, vaginitis, and some other disorders can lead to lichen sclerosus, if not treated in a good time. Younger women have cancers associated with HPV and VIN and older women have a history of vulva inflammation and lichen sclerosis. Women that have this condition can be divided into two groups that have different causes. Doctors recommend removing the abnormal tissue to prevent the cancer from developing. Vulvar dysplasia, vaginitis, and some other disorders can lead to lichen sclerosus, if not treated in a good time.

Like the cervix if these changes are left untreated for many years could turn into cancer. This condition is similar to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), only appears on the vulva. Symptoms of this condition (also known as Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia) include itching and burning or slightly raised skin lesions. Vulvar dysplasia, vaginitis, and some other disorders can lead to lichen sclerosus, if not treated in a good time.
