Vulvar Disease

A vulvar disease or vulvar vestibulitis can be the result of cervical dysplasia. Women with vulvar cancer can have HPV but don’t know it. The high-risk strains of HPV (16 and 18) are the ones commonly seen with cancer and are hard to detect. A lot of women that have had cancer have been diagnosed with Human Papilloma Virus and have had venereal warts. A vulvar disease or vulvar vestibulitis can be the result of cervical dysplasia.

Vulvar Vestibulitis, Cervical Dysplasia

One cause could be a group of conditions called lichen simplex, lichen sclerosis, and lichen planus. The cause of these symptoms can’t always be identified. Some are dermatological problems like rashes, and skin irritations from chemicals. There are many conditions that affect the vulva that aren’t cancerous. A vulvar disease or vulvar vestibulitis can be the result of cervical dysplasia.
