The condition may stem from a great variety of causes such as chronic recurrent yeast vaginitis and vulvitis, cysts, cancer, and other disorders. The pain or burning in the genital area are common in women and the cause is sometimes unidentified. Many vulva diseases are caused by HPV, such as condyloma or vulvar vestibulitis.
