Chronic Vaginosis

Chronic vaginosis is not related to a penile wart or plantar wart. Strong chemicals or soaps and douching, may bring on symptoms, or bacteria spread during sex. Symptoms may include swelling, itching, abnormal vaginal discharge, and a strong fishy smell. BV is most commonly found in women and is not a sexually transmitted disease, although it is associated with sex. Chronic vaginosis is not related to a penile wart or plantar wart.

Avoid tight fitting cloths, and avoid douches or scented pads and tampons. One way to prevent vaginal infections is to wear clean loose fitting clothes made from cotton or linen. If this infection (BV) keeps recurring, the male partners may be treated as well, although they are not usually treated. Chronic vaginosis is not related to a penile wart or plantar wart.
