Vaginitis Causes

Vaginitis causes can include viruses such as lichen sclerosis, and cannot be diagnosed with a cone biopsy. Vulvovaginal inflammation may be caused by various factors and is frequently related to sudden changes in the vaginal flora when microorganisms that are normally present there start to multiply leading to protective response of antibodies. The infection is usually associated with burning and itching, and abnormalities in the vaginal discharge. Such bacteria as Gardnerella vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, Candida albicans, streptococcus, etc. may lead to the appearance of the infection. To diagnose the condition, microscopic examination of the discharge and vaginal examination are performed.
