Vaginitis Candida

Vaginitis candida is not detectable with a pap smear as HPV is. Bacteria that are normally present in the healthy vagina may overgrow under the influence of certain factors. This leads to imbalance in the vaginal flora causing this condition that is characterized by abnormal vaginal discharge, inflammation of the vagina and the lips, and unpleasant sensations in the genitals. Vaginitis candida is not detectable with a pap smear as HPV is.

Pap Smear, HPV

This condition is very common and should receive immediate medical response. Though not dangerous, the inflammation of the vulvovaginal area can lead to severe complications if not treated. Testing that confirms the diagnosis should forestall medical treatment. Vaginitis candida is not detectable with a pap smear as HPV is.
