Trichomonas Vaginitis

Muliple partners increase the chances of STD complications such as trichomonas vaginitis or venereal wart (genital wart). A microscopic protozoon called Trichomonas vaginalis causes this infection. It is contracted by sexual intercourse with an infected person, so it is considered a sexually transmitted disease. Some people can be infected for years without symptoms, while others develop symptoms right away. Muliple partners increase the chances of STD complications such as trichomonas vaginitis or venereal wart (genital wart).
