Chronic vaginitis, repeat ASCUS Pap smear results or chronic urinary infection, are all signs needing further diagnostic attention. If you suspect you have the infection you must see a clinic nurse or doctor for treatment. Male partners are not usually treated but if the condition keeps returning they may be treated as well. ASCUS, Urinary Infection

An overgrowth of bacteria that lives in the vagina causes the infection. Strong chemicals, soaps or bacteria’s spread during sex could be the cause of this infection. Symptoms may include vaginal discharge, itching or pain, and a strong smell. This condition is easily treated.
