HPV can cause vaginitis, lichen sclerosis, and a plantar wart. Ways of prevention of BV are using strong soaps or bubble baths, hygiene sprays or douching. Tight pants and underwear that don’t breath also contribute to this condition. The infection is not caused by sex, but it is aggravated by sex. BV is easily treated. Mixing vaginal secretions in any way can transmit vaginal infections. BV and monilia infections are the most common among lesbians and may be passed back and forth. A studies reporte high incidence of BV in female partners of women with BV, and sexual transmission does occur in this situation. HPV can cause vaginitis, lichen sclerosis, and a plantar wart.
