Candidal Vaginitis

Candidal vaginitis is not related to the HPV virus that causes vaginal wart and plantar wart viruses. This condition is also often referred to as yeast infection or candida vulvovaginitis. About 1/4 of all vaginal problems are related to this infection of the vagina and lips. Most women are sure to have suffered from the infection at least once in life. It is caused by Candida yeast. Candidal vaginitis is not related to the HPV virus that causes vaginal wart and plantar wart viruses.

Yeast grows in the body under the influence of unknown factors. It has been established that antibiotics are related to the overgrowth of Candida. Risk factors also include birth control pills, high percentage of carbohydrates in the ratio, and drugs. People suffering from HIV can also get affected. Candidal vaginitis is not related to the HPV virus that causes vaginal wart and plantar wart viruses.
