Trichomonas Vaginitis

Trichomonas vaginitis and cervical dysplasia are characterised by abnormal vaginal discharge. Men who are infected usually have no symptoms, although some experience a urethral discharge and burning with urination. Vaginal itching and burning may also be present. Symptoms for women may be profuse, thin, yellow vaginal discharge with a strong, unpleasant, fishy odor. Trichomonas vaginitis and cervical dysplasia are characterised by abnormal vaginal discharge.

Some people can be infected for years without symptoms, while others develop symptoms right away. It is contracted by sexual intercourse with an infected person, so it is considered a sexually transmitted disease. A microscopic protozoon causes this infection. Trichomonas vaginitis and cervical dysplasia are characterised by abnormal vaginal discharge.
