Candida vaginitis, a genital wart, ASCUS and other gynaecological disorders require careful monitoring and proper treatment to avoid complications. Pregnant women, women who are on birth control pills, antibiotics, and other medications are in the risk group. It should be noted that girls before puberty and women having no sexual contacts with men rarely suffer from the condition. Since these microorganisms are normally found in the healthy vagina, the condition is not considered sexually transmitted.
