Vaginal Discharge Causes

Abnormal vaginal discharge causes irritation and pain, but not all conditions should be treated with cryotherapy or other methods; a pap smear test should be performed first to detect the presence of HPV. A medical examination is needed to reveal the origin of the condition. Estrogen deficiency, antibiotics long-term effects, a poor hygiene, a forgotten tampon, etc. may all result in a painful condition. Bacterial and fungus infections are the frequent origins of the abnormal flow. Yellow, green, brown, or dark secretions may be related to a variety of factors. Abnormal secretions are common in women and are associated with itching, burning, redness, pain in the abdominal or genital area, and changes in the color of the secretions produced by the vagina and the cervix.
