Abnormal discharge type vaginal may require a cone biopsy to determine the nature of the disorder; often it is a venereal wart. However, some insignificant changes in the secretions are normal during ovulation, a sexual contact, emotional stress, etc. Bacterial vaginosis leads to gray or white malodorous secretions. A thick flow with skin irritation is peculiar for yeast infection. Secretions that are thin and yellow and accompanied by foul smell are usually due to Trichomonas.
