Abormal vaginal discharge and odor caused by HPV infections are linked to infertility and vaginosis. Normal secretion from the vagina is white, yellow or colorless and has a mild odor. If it suddenly differs in color, consistency or odor, it may indicate an underlying problem, such as various infections (i.e. vaginal yeast infection) and sexually transmitted diseases.
