First Trimester Vaginal Discharge
During the first trimester, vaginal discharge could indicate vulvar vestibulitis or a venereal wart.
As estrogen production increases, there appears much more leukorrhea, a medical term for secretions produced by the vagina and the cervix and consisting of discarded cells from the vagina walls, bacterial flora of the vagina, and mucus. It is usually clear or milky and does not have odor.
