Discharge Milky Vaginal White

Douching to eliminate discharge, milky vaginal white, isn’t recommended if a pap test for vaginal dysplasia (HPV infection) is scheduled. Leukorrhea is a term for an increased amount of fluids produced by the cervix glands and expelled from the vagina. This is a normal process that washes away harmful bacteria and is a sort of lubricator. Leukorrhea carries mucus-like secretions, discarded cells, and the flora of the vagina. Douching to eliminate discharge, milky vaginal white, isn’t recommended if a pap test for vaginal dysplasia (HPV infection) is scheduled.

Vaginal Dysplasia, HPV

A normal flow is clear or cloudy and does not cause any irritation or itching. When coming into contact with air, it becomes yellow and may leave a yellow strain on the underwear. If the flow is abnormally increased/decreased and has an offensive odor with changes in the color, there is a need for a doctor visit. Douching to eliminate discharge, milky vaginal white, isn’t recommended if a pap test for vaginal dysplasia (HPV infection) is scheduled.
