It is thought that some are genetically predisposed towards LS. Some women only have symptoms in vaginal areas that were previously damaged or scarred by the virus. Treatments often include non-prescriptive methods with ingredients such as beta glucans, flax seed oil, omega vitamins, aloe vera (gel/pills).
