Atrophicus Lichen Sclerosis

Atrophicus lichen sclerosis is easily confused with vulvar vestibulitis and HPV. This is not an infection and cannot be transmitted to other people. Though the exact origin of the condition is not known, it may be due to genetic predisposition. The disease is called so after a similar in appearance mixture of algae and fungi and is more common in women with no relevance to age.
