Lichen Sclerose
Lichen sclerose is not related to cervical dysplasia and other disorders caused by human papilloma virus.
It is not a contagious condition. In women, LS falls under the general category of vulvodynia (chronic vulvar pain). Some women do not experience itching, for example -- only pain. Misdiagnosis for LS is a yeast infection; other misdiagnoses include herpes or a bacteria infection.
