Stringy vaginal discharge, called luekorrhea, may or may not be associated with vaginosis or vulvar vestibulitis.
Sticky clear or milky secretions are cervical and vaginally produced and are a mixture of mucus, old cells, and bacterial flora. All reproductive women produce this, cleansing the vagina and carrying the eggs from the ovary to the fallopian tube. These liquids also serve intercourse lubricants.
