Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge

Foul smelling vaginal discharge indicates a viral infection that could increase risk for miscarriage or a urinary infection. This is an abnormal flow that may be caused by a few factors, infections being the most common one. Thin malodorous secretions usually of yellow color may be linked to trichomonas, a one-cell sexually transmitted organism. Unpleasant odor to white secretions may indicate bacterial vaginosis.
