Vaginal discharge, blood tinged, can indicate abnormalities that a pap smear may diagnose, or toher symptoms including vaginal discharge. A healthy flow consists of cervix and vagina secretions, old cells, and harmless microorganisms. It is clear and odorless with spotting indicating a health disorder. Bleeding is common in reproductive women and may stem from hormone problems, infections, and other causes. Expectant women should watch the bleeding closely. Slight spotting is normal during the first trimester, yet may indicate a miscarriage as well.
