Causes Of Vaginal Discharge

Possible causes of vaginal discharge could be from a cervical infection of an HPV genital wart virus. A certain amount of fluids is normal in all women of childbearing age. It is comprised of cervical mucous, discarded cells, and inherent bacteria and is usually of clear or cloudy color with no odor. An increase/decrease of the secretions and changes in the color may be due to a few factors. Possible causes of vaginal discharge could be from a cervical infection of an HPV genital wart virus.

Green, yellow, brown or bloody flows accompanied by bad odor, itching, burning, swelling of the lips, and other symptoms are abnormal and can be related to an infection, a foreign body (forgotten tampon), hormone deficiency, etc. Abnormal flows in pregnant women may be indicative of a miscarriage.
