This condition is often called NSU (non-specific) or NGU (non-gonococcal), and usually sexually transmitted. Chlamydia and gonorrhea often occur together. Risk factors include multiple sexual partners and sexual contact without condoms. A discharge from the penis and swollen testes can indicate NSU.
