Symptoms of urethritis, or a urinary infection are usually never confused with symptoms of HPV. Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum are believed to be a frequent cause of the disease that is accompanied by burning during urination and discharge. This condition is often called NSU (non-specific urethritis) or NGU (non-gonococcal urethritis), and usually sexually transmitted. Treatment with drugs is common and because it is contagious the sexual partner is simultaneously treated. Risk factors include multiple sexual partners and sexual contact without condoms. Symptoms of urethritis, or a urinary infection are usually never confused with symptoms of HPV.
