Nongonococcal Urethritis

Nongonococcal urethritis may present with vaginal discharge and evidence of HPV. Yearly, a few million people suffer from this condition. This disease results from any infection except gonorrhea affecting the urethra. Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum are believed to be a frequent cause of the disease that is accompanied by burning during urination and discharge. Nongonococcal urethritis may present with vaginal discharge and evidence of HPV.

Both men and women can get infected. As a rule, the infection is acquired during sexual intercourse. Sometimes, a close physical contact with an affected person is enough to develop the disease. People who practice oral sex are also at risk. The infection is treated with antibiotics. Nongonococcal urethritis may present with vaginal discharge and evidence of HPV.
