Gonococcal Urethritis

Gonococcal urethritis is a urinary infection that is not caused by HPV. A gonorrhea bacterium causes this condition. A person who is infected with this should needs to let their partner know. Both people must receive treatment, and need to abstain from intercourse until their treatment is complete. The infection can be treated with anti-biotics. Symptoms include redness around the urethra, a discharge from the end of the penis, frequent urination, and a burning sensation when urinating. This condition is spread through sexual contact and is easily prevented once diagnosed. Wearing a condom is recommended, abstinence from sex, and a mutually monogamous relationship.
