Chlamydia Urethritis

Chlamydia urethritis is not normally caused by genital herpes or HPV that causes the facial wart virus. Chlamydial infection causes one of the most common STI’s in the world. Called NSU (non-specific urethritis) because often the germs are not identified, it is clear that Chlamydial germs are responsible for a substantial proportion of these cases. Symptoms often outlast the infection itself. Chlamydia urethritis is not normally caused by genital herpes or HPV that causes the facial wart virus.

Occasionally other germs may cause this infection, or a urinary tract infection, or chemical irritants. For the correct treatment you need to seek medical advice from your doctor or a specialist clinic. Left untreated, the infection may persist and lead to problems later on, in you or your partner.
