Sil Pap Smear

Sil pap smear will not diagnose vaginosis, but will determine the presence of condyloma HPV. This term stands for squamous intraepithelial lesion and indicates an overgrowth of cervical cells. Changes that appear in cells differ in grades (low and high) and may be detected with Papanicolaou test and colposcopy. Papanicolaou test should be taken annually. Sil pap smear will not diagnose vaginosis, but will determine the presence of condyloma HPV.

Sil Pap Smear

  -

Vaginosis, Condyloma

Having this condition does not mean you have cancer since a malignant growth consists of new tissues, while squamous intraepithelial lesion is an overgrowth of normally present cells. However, this condition may be followed by cancer. Therefore, regular check-ups are a must. Sil pap smear will not diagnose vaginosis, but will determine the presence of condyloma HPV.
