Pap Virus

When a pap virus is present, cervical dysplasia caused by HPV is usually what is found. Genital viruses like HPV can enter the body and cause cellular damage. Since carcinogenic type HPV is the single related cause of cervical cancer, its early detection through cytology screening and HPV DNA tests can virtually impede it from further damage. However, exposure to HPV does not preclude cervical cancer. When a pap virus is present, cervical dysplasia caused by HPV is usually what is found.

Cervical Dysplasia, HPV

Genetics (having a specific protein), weakened immunity, prolonged HPV exposure and unmanaged HPV infections figure in progression to cancer or emergence of symptoms. HPV can exist without signs; one can be a carrier without knowing it. It is possible for cytological examinations not to detect its presence during routine exams. When a pap virus is present, cervical dysplasia caused by HPV is usually what is found.
