Pap Smear Picture

With a pap smear picture you can learn about the procedure; this test can detect abnormal tissues inthe genital area that can lead to vaginosis, ASCUS, cervical dysplasia and other more dangerous disorders. If any unusual cell changes, referred to as dysplasia are found, a physician will generally request a follow-up visit for further diagnostics and treatment. A swab is used to capture loose cells from the tissue lining of the cervix and placed under a microscope to identify any uncharacteristic cells that result from infections, diseases, and other problems.
