Bethesda Pap Smear
Disorders detected with a bethesda pap smear can be treated with cryotherapy on early stages otherwise they can lead to infertility.
Depending on the extent of the changes in the cells, there may low- or high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion be diagnosed. There are also atypical cells (ASCUS) that require additional tests since their origin is hard to determine. If there are no abnormalities, the results are normal.
