Low Grade Pap Smear
A low grade pap smear result will usually show the presence of human papillomavirus or possibly vulvar vestibulitis.
This condition means that abnormal cells that have been found during Papanicolaou test show minor changes in size and shape. The overgrowth has not yet affected a large area and is likely to be treated. As a rule, it results from injuries and infections.
