What Is Ascus

What is ASCUS may be easier to determine if a vaginal wart or venereal wart is present. Squamous cells make up most of the cells in the outer layer of the skin (the epidermis), and the passages of the respiratory and digestive tracts. This acronym stands for Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance and is part of the Bethesda System for reporting of Pap smear results. Many of the causes are minor infections or irritations that the body will handle naturally. This condition can also be a warning of precancerous change called dysplasia.
