HPV Ascus

It usually takes many years for cancer of the cervix to develop. Without treatment severely dysplastic cells penetrate deeper layers of the cervix and spread to other organs, causing invasive cervical cancer. Cancer is unlikely to progress in women who don’t smoke or have other cervical cancer risk factors.
