Cervical Pap Smear

A cervical pap smear is used to diagnose venereal wart viruses, treatable with a LEEP procedure. Dysplasia is common with the majority of abnormal results, curable if detected at an early stage. Squamous cell carcinoma is believed to be the most common type of the condition with the risk factors including HPV, HIV, multiple sexual partners, beginning sexual relations at an early age, etc. A cervical pap smear is used to diagnose venereal wart viruses, treatable with a LEEP procedure.

All women over 18 (or younger, if they are involved in sexual contacts) should take the test annually. If you register bleeding, pain, and usual vaginal discharge, contact you doctor.
