The CIN Grading system employs 9 grades that correspond to 5 grades used by the Bethesda system. These evaluation systems are widely spread today unlike the outdated one that was offered by Dr. Papanicolaou and distinguished between classes rather than descriptions of the condition. Some pap smear classifications include viruses that cause urethritis or a vaginal wart.
