Missed Miscarriages

The occurance of missed miscarriages can be an indication of infertility, although a compromised cervix from either infections or the LEEP procedure could be a factor. When a woman conceives and a baby is created, it takes half its genes from the sperm and half from the egg that ovulated that month. At the exact time of conception, the crossover of these genes takes place. Sometimes, some information is lost and the pregnancy fails to develop, as it should. Infertility, LEEP Procedure

When miscarriages occur and aren't detected is when the baby dies soon after conception and the woman thinks she is having a heavier than usual menstrual cycle. Some people also refer to this as a “silent miscarriage.” It is not usually discovered until several days or weeks after the baby has died. The occurance of missed miscarriages can be an indication of infertility, although a compromised cervix from either infections or the LEEP procedure could be a factor.
