Miscarriage Probability

Miscarriage probability is undeterminable, but risk factors should be diagnosed with a cone biopsy or a pap smear. A spontaneous abortion is defined as the loss of a pregnancy before the 20th week. It has been estimated to occur in 15 to 20 percent of all pregnancies. The actual number, however, is probably more like 50 percent. Miscarriage probability is undeterminable, but risk factors should be diagnosed with a cone biopsy or a pap smear.

Cone Biopsy, Pap Smear

According to statistics, over 80 percent of miscarriages occur in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Of these early miscarriages, at least half are considered to be caused by problems with the fetus’s chromosomes. Miscarriage probability is undeterminable, but risk factors should be diagnosed with a cone biopsy or a pap smear.
