D&c Miscarriage

A d&c miscarriage is not usually related to having ASCUS, colposcopy or genital disorders. The dialation and curettage does not weaken the cervix or make a woman more likely to miscarry in subsequent pregnancies. A dialation and curettage or evacuation is carried out to reduce the chance of infection and also to ensure that a woman does not continue bleeding over the following weeks. A d&c miscarriage is not usually related to having ASCUS, colposcopy or genital disorders.
