Conception after miscarriage is still possible, but if the woman has cervical dysplasia or other disorders related to human papilloma virus, they should be treated before getting pregnant. Women are advised to attempt a new pregnancy when having experienced one or two menstrual cycles. Unless there are cervix problems, chromosomal abnormalities, or similar conditions, a future pregnancy is likely to be a success. An examination may reveal genetic diseases or structural abnormalities of the womb.
