A chance miscarriage happens in some cases; a verruca and some other disorders are not related to this disorder, but cryotherapy and other treatments can weaken the cervix. It is recommended to avoid any chance of abdominal injuries especially during the second trimester to minimize the risk of a loss of pregnancy. Radiation, poisons, unsafe medication, and chemicals are also dangerous. Caffeine is also detrimental for the embryo. Women who practice drug and alcohol abuse increase the risk of fetal death even if it is genetically sound.
