Causes Of A Miscarriage

There are many causes of a miscarriage, but having human papillomavirus, a leep procedure or other operations doesn't influence the fetus on the early stage. Approximately one in six confirmed pregnancies miscarries. It usually happens before 12 weeks of pregnancy. In most cases, a spontaneous abortion is thought to be the nature’s way of de-selecting the embryos that are not going to develop healthily. This can cause the new baby to develop improperly, or to die after only a few weeks of pregnancy. Most of these abnormalities tend to occur at the time of fertilization. Up to 50 percent of miscarriages are due to a spontaneous genetic or structural abnormality in the baby.
