Fetus disorders often cause a miscarriage in the first trimester, but vaginosis, condyloma and other disorders of the mother are not related to such a problem. Usually, there is nothing a woman or her doctor can do to prevent it. However, most occur when a pregnancy is not developing normally. Doctors often cannot determine the causes. The causes of this spontaneous abortion are not thoroughly understood. Fetus disorders often cause a miscarriage in the first trimester, but vaginosis, condyloma and other disorders of the mother are not related to such a problem.

Vaginosis, Condyloma

Most occur in the first trimester or 12 weeks of pregnancy. As the definition goes, this is a pregnancy loss that occurs prior to 20 weeks, before the fetus is able to survive outside the womb. About 15 to 20 percent of recognized pregnancies end this way. Fetus disorders often cause a miscarriage in the first trimester, but vaginosis, condyloma and other disorders of the mother are not related to such a problem.
