Continuing symptoms are present in an incomplete miscarriage and could also be an indication of infections present such as human papilloma virus detected early on as ASCUS Pap smear results. This term refers to miscarriages due to natural causes when pregnancy related tissue is not completely expelled from the uterus. Women usually report vaginal bleedings and pain that are characteristic of other types of miscarriages too. With this condition close examination reveals unexpelled tissue in the uterus.
