Mesothelioma Lung
A mesothelioma lung disoease is caused by exposure to asbestos; asbestosis and other related disorders are difficult to treat.
This malignant neoplasm affects the protective tissue, which lines lungs and the walls of the ribs (pleura), the abdominal organs and the inner side of the abdominal cavity (peritoneum) and the heart (pericardium). It is usually caused by tiny asbestos particles, which amass inside the body.

Mesothelioma Lung -
asbestos, asbestosis
This tumor has a very long latency period, and it frequently takes asymptomatic course. Symptoms usually appear when the cancer has already grown to a large size and started to metastasize. This hampers the diagnostics of the disease and contributes to a high fatality rate.
