Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma
Malignant pleural mesothelioma is related to asbestos exposure, just like asbestosis and several other disorders.
This is a very serious disease, and the success of treatment depends on many factors. Early diagnostics allows for fast and aggressive treatment, which are more likely to be effective. If the tumor has spread much around the body, little can be done.

Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma -
asbestos, asbestosis
This tumor affects the protective membrane, which covers the lungs and the inside of the ribcage, and the peritoneum, the same kind of membrane, covering abdominal organs. As the tumor grows and spreads, it invades surrounding tissues. Chest tumors constrict the lungs and generate chest pain and shortness of breath.
